New features: Growth score and other statistics

Habit detailed statistics can be viewed in the slide-over

We've introduced several statistics for individual habits. Now, you can view the current and maximum streaks, the total number of days you checked in, and the growth score.

What is growth score?

The growth score is based on "the 1% principle." James Clear, in his renowned book "Atomic Habits," suggests that improving just 1% daily can lead you to being 37 times better yourself by the end of the year (1.01365 ≈ 37.78).

Our progress is exponential, and the fruits of our daily efforts often become visible only after months or years. However, our brains tend to expect linear progress, which can make it challenging to get past the initial exponential plateau. This often leads to giving up on forming new habits.

The growth score graph visualizes your progress in a clear and motivating way. By quantifying even the smallest advancements, this feature helps reinforce your commitment to long-term goals, maintain motivation, and enhance self-awareness. We hope you enjoy it 🌱
